Northern California couple that wants to make a difference in the horse industry. We want to save lives, enrich our community with education, help horses heal and rehabilitate back into full lives. We believe in being a voice for the voiceless and helping those that humans have so desperately failed. We are a small and ethical nonprofit rescue. Sometimes the lives we save need a lot of time and healing before they are able to be adopted out to their forever family. Follow our journey and watch hearts heal.
At Golden West Rescue, we dedicate our time and resources to rescuing neglected horses and providing them with the rehabilitation they desperately need. Each horse that comes through our doors is a testament to resilience, love, hard work and hope, and your support plays a crucial role in their journey to recovery.
Terin and Bri live, work, and rescue in Millville, California. We are just trying to make a difference in a broken industry that so desperately needs our help ! We will rely a mainly on donations, sponsorships, gifts, and social media sharing for our rescue to stay in motion.

Why We Do It
The equine industry is in crisis. Thousands of equine are forgotten, mistreated, sold for meat, discarded and euthanized every single day.
